Obituary for Adrianna Jade Brown
Adrianna Jade Brown, 22, of Rockingham, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023 as a result of an automobile accident.
She was born February 2, 2001, in Richmond County, daughter of Jamell Brown and Tracey Owens Jones.
Adrianna was a genuine person with a beautiful smile. She loved spending time with her son, Ryder, and he was an added joy in her life. She loved to bake and spend time with her family. She was a loving daughter, who was very loved- as a daughter, sister, mother, niece, cousin and friend.
She is survived by her mother, Tracey Owens Jones (Joe) of Rockingham; father, Jamell Brown of Hamlet; significant other, John Chazz Murray; son, Ryder Murray; grandparents, Dwan and Maggie McLaurin of Rockingham, Rosie Owens and Kenny Griffin of Rockingham, Annie Cummings of Hamlet, Walter Owens of Hamlet; brothers, Gavin Brown, Jamell Brown, Jr., and Brandon Oxendine, all of Hamlet; sisters, Laylah Brown, who is serving our country in the US Air Force in Las Vegas, Nevada, Jameshia Streeter of Greensboro, and Makayla Brown of Hamlet; special aunts and uncles, Thomas and Nicole Davis, and Charles and Tina Cummings; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 2:00pm at Outreach for Jesus, Hamlet, with Pastor Marvin Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell Independent Baptist Church Cemetery, Hamlet.
At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of her mother, Covington Street, Rockingham.
