Baby Malachi Zayne Newton, infant son of Abigail Newton, was born and passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at UNC Health Southeastern, Lumberton.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Wendy Haywood Newton.
Malachi is survived by his mother, Abigail Newton, of the home, in Tabor City, NC; grandfather, Chuck Newton (Linda); great-grandmother Sarah King Shoun of Tabor City, NC; uncle, Chase Newton of Shallotte; and aunt, Allison Newton of Whiteville.
Services will be held private by the family.
