Obituary for Canty Bullock Gallops
Mr. Canty Bullock Gallops, 70, of Rockingham, went home to be with our Lord, Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Morrison Manor Hospice , Laurinburg.
He was born May 26, 1950, in Hamlet, son of Glyn Wilson Gallops and Carrie Bell Hopkins Gallops.
Mr. Gallops was a member of Place of Grace Church and a Veteran of US Army during Vietnam. He worked many years as a long distance truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Donald Gallops and Jimmy Cain.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Roberts Gallops; daughter, Brandy Starling (Matthew); sons, Canty Glyn Gallops (Michelle), David Lee Gallops (Denise) and Chris Newton (Sarah); sister, Glenda Chalco; and nine grandchildren.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions there will be no visitation.
There will be a Private Service at the Place of Grace.
