Obituary for Cathy Flowers Hinson
Cathy Elaine Flowers Hinson, 71, of Aberdeen, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Accordius Health at Aberdeen.
She was born May 16, 1950, daughter of the late Archie W. Flowers and Margie Ruth Flowers.
Cathy previously worked with Perdue Feed Mill in Candor. She loved western movies and watching television. Most important in her life was her family, and she especially loved her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie W. Flowers and Margie Ruth Flowers Sheppard; husband, James R. Hinson; grandson, Tommy Kempen, Jr.; and brother, Gary Flowers.
She is survived by her children, Kelly Elaine Hinson of Rockingham, James C. Hinson (Wendi) of Hamlet, and Richard Brigman (Jennifer) of Darlington, SC; honorary sons, Altarique “Monte” Harrington and Jamie Barlow; grandchildren, Tabitha Kempen, Alex L. Hinson, Christi Hinson, Emma-Rae Hinson, Wyatt Hinson, Richard Tillman “RJ” Brigman, Jr., Jacqueline Thompson Brigman, Leah Kathryn Brigman, Brandon James Brigman, and Jenna Storm Brigman; great-grandson, Colton James Locklear; and sister, Brenda Flowers Wise of Goose Creek, SC.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 1:00-2:00pm at Harrington Funeral Home.
The memorial service will begin at 2:00pm, following the visitation, in the chapel of Harrington Funeral Home.
