Obituary for Charles Richard Ezzell
Charles Richard Ezzell, 72, of Rockingham, passed away, Thursday, June 18, 2020, at First Health Moore Regional, Pinehurst.
He was born in Columbus County, August 18, 1947, son of James Ezzell and Mary Dowless Ezzell.
Mr. Ezzell was an avid fisherman and hunter, a strong “Trump fan” and a former truck mechanic .He loved his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He had a kind heart and always put others first.
A Visitation , in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, will be held at Faith Free Will Baptist Church, Sunday, June 21, 2020 from 2:00-4:00 pm
A graveside will be held, after visitation, at 4:30 pm at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. Cruse Minor and Alan Blue will be officiating. Burial will follow.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Smith Ezzell of the home; daughters, Denise Ezzell of Jacksonville and Kimberly Minor of Lake View; sons, Jeremy Ezzell and Clay Ezzell both of Rockingham; brother, Randy Ezzell of Rockigham; sisters, Marilyn Idol and Carolyn McLaughlin both of Rockingham; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
