Obituary for David Baxter Lovin
David Baxter Lovin, 76, of Rockingham, passed away, Friday, November 15, 2019, at Hospice Haven.
He was born in Hamlet, August 27, 1943, son of John Baxter Lovin and Virginia Dare Hodges Lovin.
He retired from Food Lion where he was a Produce Manager, was a life long member of Springhill Wesleyan Church and a veteran of the US Air Force.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Springhill Wesleyan Church from 2:00-3:00 PM.
The Funeral will begin at 3:00 PM with Pastor Bob Scott and Pastor Jeff Collins officiating.
Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 56 yrs., Karen Scott Lovin of the home; daughters, Angela Lovin(Brian Harrison) and Lisa Lovin Sharpe both of Rockingham; son, Steven Scott Lovin( Linda) of Hamlet; brothers, Grady Lovin of Locust, Mike Lovin of Ellerbe and Randy Lovin of Hamlet; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
