Demetra Altman Roberts, 70, of Hamlet, passed away, Wednesday, December 25, 2019, at First Health Moore Regional, Pinehurst.
She was born August 14, 1949 in Johnsonville, SC, daughter of Roland Altman and Lucille Poston Altman.
Mrs. Roberts was a member of Second Baptist Church, Hamlet and a former LPN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Franklin Roberts; and a brother, R.L. Altman.
Survivors include her children, Heather Staskel (Ron) of Mooresville and Jason Roberts of Hamlet; brothers, Dexter Altman of Rockingham, O.W. Altman of Hamlet and Jimmy Altman of Southport; sisters, Judy Hair of Hamlet, Ava Gentry and Linda McIntyre both of Southport; and seven grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2019, at 3: 00 PM, at the home of her brother and his wife, 202 N. Randolph Street, Rockingham, NC
