Obituary for Diana Keaton Buffkin
Diana Keaton Buffkin, 70, of Hamlet, passed away Friday, December 30, 2022 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst.
She was born May 24, 1952, in Hamlet, daughter of the late David and Louise Drakeford Keaton.
Diana worked as a medical coder in healthcare and loved her job, but also enjoyed her retirement. She was an avid participant with Samaritan Colony, sponsoring as needed, attending meetings, and utilizing her skills for those with addiction issues. She was a very inquisitive person who loved research and enjoyed discussing her findings on different topics. Diana was a kind, good person.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, David Buffkin.
Diana is survived by her sister, Patricia Keaton Hinson of Rockingham; niece, Anna Smith; great-nephew, Joshua Smith; and great-great nephew, Dylan Smith.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 6, 2023 at 2:00pm at Samaritan Colony.
