He was born November 28, 1985, in Richmond County, son of Donald Moore Edwards, Jr. and Mary Weathers Edwards.
Trey was pursuing a career as an electrician and worked in construction. He had a heart of gold and loved his family. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his parents, Mary Weathers Edwards and Donald M. Edwards, Jr. of Hamlet; daughter, Megan Lou Edwards of Hamlet; brother, Bahnson Edwards of Burlington; paternal grandmother, Carolyn B. Edwards of Hamlet and maternal grandmother, Charlotte Y. Weathers of Weldon.
