Donald Wayne “Pete” Coates, 62, of Rockingham, passed away, Sunday, May 31, 2020.
He was born January 22, 1958, in Cumberland County, son of Daniel Paul Coates, Jr. and Gertrude Bennett Coates.
“Pete” was a remarkable upholstery man; he was easy going and loved his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his daughters, Angela Mitchell, Bonnie Eaves and Miranda Coates all of Rockingham; brothers, Daniel Paul Coates, III and Henry R. Coates both of Rockingham; sister, Betty Gibson of Bennettsville, SC; and two grandchildren.
All Services will be private.
