Obituary for Doris Gibson Covington
Doris Gibson Covington, 76, of Hamlet, passed away, Thursday, January 28, 2021 at her residence.
She was born October 15, 1944, in Scotland County, daughter of John Clifton Gibson and Mary McPherson Gibson.
Mrs. Covington was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church, and had previously worked at Wal-Mart. She always had a smile on her face, along with her sweet temperament.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Livingston Covington of the home; daughter, Nancy Caulder (Ronald) of Laurel Hill; son, Harold Dwayne Covington of Huntersville; brother Everett Gibson of Marston; sisters, Mary Gibson of Marston and Ruby Murphy of Fayetteville; and five grandchildren, Ryann Torizzo, Calvin Covington, Zackery Caulder, Clayton Covington and Nathan Caulder.
The Family will have a private service.
