Obituary for Doris "Linda" Woodard Billingsley
Doris “Linda” Woodard Billingsley, 72, of Hamlet, passed away, Monday, January 4, 2021, at First Health Moore, Pinehurst.
She was born October 15, 1948, in Scotland County, daughter of James Woodard and Hazel Poston McCune Woodard.
Previously Linda worked as a CNA for Home Health. Linda loved her family and was very smart in History. She enjoyed when she was able to travel and drinking coca-colas! She loved her late faithful companion, “Tara”.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Ray Billingsley.
She is survived by her sons, Chris and Hanky Matteson; step-brothers, Terry and Gary Wayne Woodard; sister, Angie Woodard; two grandchildren; a niece with whom she made her home, Lisa Herndon; and several other nieces and nephews.
All Services will be private.
