Obituary for Ella Herndon Rainwater
Ella Marie Herndon Rainwater, 57, of Hamlet, passed away, Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at First Health Moore Regional.
She was born April 25, 1963, in Richmond County, daughter of Fred Herndon and Leslie Paul Herndon.
Ella attended Abundant Life Church and previously worked for Thera-Firm. She loved vacations, especially the mountains, working outside in her flowers and garden and her furry companions, her five dogs!
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Otis Herndon.
Survivors include her sisters, Delia Hogan, Cynthia Peed and Betty Doty (James) all of Hamlet; brothers, Jerry Herndon of Bennettsville, SC, Freddie Herndon (Vicky) of Wallace, SC and Prentice Herndon of Rockingham; four nieces; five nephews; and her loyal companions, Shonie, Hazel, Butterbean, Opie and Dallas.
A Graveside Service will be held at Hogan Family Cemetery, Eddies Lane, Hamlet, Sunday, February 14, 2021 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow.
Everyone is ask to wear a mask and to continue to practice social distancing.
