Obituary for Ernest "Ernie" Lee Daughtrey
Ernest “Ernie” Lee Daughtrey, 65, of Beeler Avenue, Hamlet, passed away, Sunday, March 8, 2020, at Scotland Memorial Hospital, Laurinburg.
He was born September 25, 1954 in Pender County, son of Odell Daughtrey and Margaret Lewis Daughtrey
He was a member of Touch of Grace Church.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at Touch of Grace, from 1:00-2:30 pm and a Memorial Service to start at 2:30 pm.
He was preceded in death by grandson, Noah Daughtrey; sister, Joyce Miller; brothers, Durwood Daughtrey and Everette Earl Daughtrey; and a special step-daughter, Christy Maulden.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Hare Daughtrey of the home; daughter, Tara D. McDuffie (Lee) of Rockingham; son, Lee Daughtrey of Laurel Hill ; brother, Albert Daughtrey (Nena) of Castle Hayne; sisters, Barbara Smith of Delco, Frankie Saunders (Lewis) of Burgaw, and Janice Daughtrey of Burgaw; Aunt, Tressie Moore of Currie; and three grandchildren, Nikolas Daughtrey, Nathan Hoffman, and Danica McDuffie.
The Family has requested no flowers.
