Ernie Day Salmons, 79, of Marlboro Street, Hamlet, passed away, Friday, January 10, 2020, at Hospice Haven

He was born in Beauty Kentucky, February 18, 1940, son of James Sherman Salmons and Verna Kirk Salmons.
Mr. Salmons was a Retired Veteran of the US Air Force.
He is preceded in death by his Parents; and a grandson, Bobby Salmons; two sisters, Clarice Bernice McClure and Connie Kay Griffin.
He is survived by his companion Peggy Musgrave of the home; sons, Patrick Salmons of Tampa ,Fl. And Daye Salmons (Cathy) of Sequin, Texas; daughter, Robin Musgrave(Sheree Crutchfield) of Elon; and two granddaughters, Sharee Salmons (Alex Cortez) and Michelle Allen (Rob).
All Services will be private.
