Obituary for Gail B. Winburn
Gail Brigman Winburn, 61, of Hamlet, passed away, Monday, February 28, 2022, at First Health, Rockingham.
Gail was born in Hamlet, April 23, 1960, daughter of Manly Brigman, Jr. and Margaret Gainey Brigman.
Before her failing health Gail was employed as a store manager for Dollar General. Despite her many obstacles with her health, she never let it keep her down; always wearing her beautiful smile. Once she made Richmond Pines her home, they all jokingly called her the “Mayor” of Richmond Pines. Gail was a very independent woman that loved her daughter, granddaughter and Butterflies! Her family as well as her many friends at Richmond Pines will surely miss her!
A Visitation will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022, at Harrington Funeral Home from 11:00 AM-12:00 noon
The Funeral will begin at 12:00 in the chapel of Harrington Funeral Home with Marie Brigman Long officiating. Burial will follow at Brigman Cemetery, Bennettsville, SC.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Kenneth Miller.
Survivors include her daughter, Amanda Winburn Roper of Matthews; brother, Manley Brigman, III (Nancy) of Hamlet; sister, Carol Fleming of Raleigh; her granddaughter, Liliana “Lily” Bockweg; numerous nieces and nephews; and her Special Family from Richmond Pines
