Obituary for Gary Glenn Norton
Gary Glenn Norton, 66, of Rockingham, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Richmond County Hospice Haven.
He was born April 22, 1956, in Richmond County, son of the late James Clifford Norton and Clara Ruth Ford Norton.
Glenn was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Clifford and Clara Ruth Norton; and brother, Jimmy Norton.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 36 years, Eva Mae Todd Norton of the home; sons, Gary Wayne Norton (Haley) of Charleston, SC and James Frye (Shannon) of Athens, Georgia; granddaughter, Makayla Norton of Charleston, SC; brother, Billy Norton of Bridgewood, Virginia; and sisters, Merilous N. Cline and Diane Shoenberger, both of Myrtle Beach, SC.
A memorial graveside service will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 2:00pm at Mt. Calvary Rock of Ages Church Cemetery, Rockingham.
