Obituary for Harold Clinton Parker, Sr.
Harold Clinton Parker, Sr., 60, of Rockingham, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2022 at his residence.
He was born June 7, 1962, in Richmond County, son of the late Harold Parker and Verline Carpenter Worrell.
Mr. Parker loved being outside and enjoyed fishing. In earlier years, he also enjoyed working on cars. His greatest joy was his family; he loved his children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters, and his friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Vernon Parker; sister, Diana Horton; and nephew, Frankie.
Mr. Parker is survived by his children, Harold Clinton Parker, Jr. (Kelly) of Hamlet, Wendy Jacobs Parker (Kevin Bradshaw) of Gastonia, Kristen Parker of Rockingham, and Sherry Lee King (Jason) of Biscoe; grandchildren, Kenleigh, Clinton, Kendon, Kalee, Cassidy, Javin, Kelsey, Madelyn, Anthony, and Carley; special friend, Shirley Oliver; brothers, Terry Parker and Harold Parker, Jr. (Brittany Perkins), all of Rockingham; sister, Doreen Jenks of Rockingham; brother-in-law, Mike Horton of Hamlet; and nieces and nephews, Kevin, Travis, Russell, Destiny, and Karrissa.
A time of visitation will be Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 5:00-7:00pm at Harrington Funeral Home, Hamlet. A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
