Obituary for Hobert Monroe Mabe, Jr.
Mr. Hobert Monroe Mabe, Jr., 72, of Rockingham, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022 at the Hermitage Retirement Center.
He was born June 2, 1949, son of the late Hobert Monroe Mabe, Sr. and Emma Lee Strickland Mabe.
Mr. Mabe was an outgoing man, never meeting a stranger, and would do anything to help anyone. He was a family man and loved his family. He was loved by many people. He also had a love for gardening and enjoyed being outside.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Dial Mabe of Dalton, Georgia; daughters, Cindy Cashwell (Timothy) of Rockingham, Patty Davis (Dale) and Melissa Krimsky, all of Dalton, Georgia; son, Timothy Mabe of Rockingham; brothers, Gerald Mabe (Elaine) of Hamlet and Carlton Mabe (Jennie) of Laurinburg; sister, Donna Perdue (Tommy) of Rockingham; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
All services will be private.
