Obituary for Janice Marie Lawrence
Janice Marie Lawrence, 66, of Hamlet, passed away, Sunday, January 10, 2021, at Richmond Pines Healthcare, Hamlet.
She was born in Richmond County, October 1, 1954, daughter of James Emerson Lawrence and Edna Albright Lawrence.
Janice was born with Cerebral Palsy and had many struggles thru her life. She was an amazing person and her favorite thing to watch or listen to was NASCAR. Her favorite being car #3, Dale Earnhardt! When she was previously at the Hermitage, she loved her church family and singing along with certain members of the congregation. She was an exceptional lady that will be missed!
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, James A. Lawrence.
Janice is survived by her sister, Margie English of Rockingham; and many special friends.
Memorials may be made in Janice's memory to Richmond County Hospice, 1119 Hwy. 1,N., Rockingham, NC 28379 or Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 1247 Sandhill Road, Rockingham, NC 28379.
A Graveside service will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Thursday, January 14, 2021, at 2:00 pm
