Obituary for Joel Eugene Ingram
Joel Eugene Ingram, 71, of Bennettsville, SC, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at his residence.
He was born March 10, 1951, in Richmond County, NC, son of the late John Edmond Ingram and Esther Gordon Ingram.
Mr. Ingram was an industrial electrician during his working years and had a very strong work ethic. He attended Joy Free Will Baptist Church in Hamlet. He was a die-hard Clemson fan and loved playing solitaire. If you knew him, you knew he wore a smile on his face and loved to joke. He was very proud of his family and especially loved his late wife, Patricia.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia Franklin Ingram; and brother and sister-in-law, Gordon and Shirley Ingram.
Mr. Ingram is survived by his daughters, Lutichia Parrish (Andrew) of Charlotte, Linda Michelle Ingram of the home, and Christina Lilly (John) of Wallace, SC; brothers, Richard Ingram (Carol) of Charlotte and Mike Ingram (Kathy) of Sanford; seven grandchildren, Joseph Ingram, Arkevius Forrest, Travis Forrest, Dinero Small, Natalya Small, Lillian Parrish, and Hayden Parrish.
A memorial service will be Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 2:00pm at Joy Free Will Baptist Church, Hamlet, with Pastor June Grant officiating.
