Obituary for John Henry Leviner

John Henry Leviner,72, of Lilesville, formerly of Hamlet, passed away, Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at Scotland Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Scotland County, November 6, 1948, son of William Frank “Duck” Leviner and Juanita Pettit Leviner.
A man who loved people ,spending time with his family, deep sea fishing , horses and was a Lifelong Minnesota Vikings fan; a very giving person and a wonderful father! He enjoyed being with his family around a big campfire as they ate his famous” Chicken bog” that was said to be wonderful! His children saw him as the Backbone of the Leviner family and he will be missed!!

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Big John Leviner; brothers, William Frank Leviner, Bobby Leviner, Dennis Leviner, Lee Leviner, and Robbie Leviner; and granddaughter, Adalyn Leviner.

Survivors include his daughters, Crystal Leviner and Wanda Powell both of Hamlet; sons, Robin Leviner, of Hamlet, Shannon Leviner of Athens, TN., Joshua Leviner of Rockingham and Blake Leviner of Rockingham; brothers, Charles Leviner, Kenny Leviner, Tim Leviner all of Hamlet and Roger Leviner of Rockingham; sister, Inez Smyers of Hamlet; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many friends.

A walk through visitation will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Kings Gate Church.
The Funeral will begin in the church at 2:00 pm.
