Obituary for John Jay Turner, Jr.
John Jay Turner, Jr.,49, of Blewitt Avenue, Rockingham, passed away, Friday, July 31, 2020, at Hospice Haven.
He was born February 22, 1971, in Richmond County, son of John Jay Turner, Sr. and Joyce Barmer Dyson.
John was a former fork lift operator at Cortex. He was a very caring person that always put others first. He enjoyed watching all sports but Dallas Cowboys was a favorite.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother, Joyce Barmer Dyson of Rockingham; and his brothers, Christopher Brown of Albemarle and Trey Brown of Rockingham.
The family will be having a Memorial Service on their own.
