Obituary for Karlene Brand Lowery
Mrs. Karlene Brand Lowery, 93, of Rockingham, passed away, Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at Hospice Haven.
She was born October 8, 1926, in Richmond County, daughter of William Guy Brand and Margaret Smith Brand.
Mrs. Lowery was a member of Temple Baptist Church; a lady of great faith and a true example of a Christian.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stearley Teal Lowery; sons, Roger Lowery and Dean Lowery;
brother, James Brand; and sister, Betty Baker.
Survivors include her daughters, Gloria Copeland of Union, SC and Trudy McCarter of Wilmington; son, Calvin Lowery (Janet) of Apison, TN; sister, Geraldine Eudy of Silver Springs, Maryland; daughter-in-law, Sue Lowery of Rockingham; sixteen grandchildren; twenty five great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Richmond County Hospice Haven, 1119 Hwy. 1, N., Rockingham, NC 28379.
Graveside Service will be private due to mandates of COVID-19.
