Obituary for Kimberly Dawn "Kim" Freeman

Kimberly “Kim” Dawn Freeman, 46, of Grace Chapel Road, Hamlet, passed away, Wednesday, July 1, 2020, as result of an accident.

She was born in Richmond County, March 16, 1974, daughter of Richard Lee Freeman and Linda Brigman Freeman.

Kim was a 1992 graduate of Richmond Sr. High School and went on to attend Wingate and Sandhills Community College before graduating from Phoenix earning her Master’s degree. During her college years she earned her living being a carrier for Richmond County Daily Journal for several years and working at Food Lion. At her death she was the manager at Dollar Tree in Wadesboro. For the last two years she received the “Top Gun Award”, which is the highest honor one can achieve with Dollar Tree. Kim and her partner Brenda love to travel and did so traveling to many different locations. Including the Islands, Cruising and New York City! Kim was a sweet, big hearted person that always had a smile. She will surely be missed.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Samantha Jo Langley; and her grandson that she adored and was with her in the end, Liam Morgan.

Survivors include her wife of nineteen years, Brenda Leviner of the home; parents, Richard Lee and Linda Brigman Freeman of Hamlet; brother, Richie Freeman (Susan) of Rockingham; Daughter, Casey Leviner Morgan of Hamlet; nephews, Brandon Langley(Heather) of Hamlet, Dylan Freeman(Laura) of Fayetteville and Zack Freeman of Rockingham;

A Visitation will be held at Harrington Funeral Home, Monday, July 6, from 5:00-6:00 pm.

The memorial service will begin at 6:00 in the chapel.

According to Covid-19 mandate, mask will be required with a limited number of people along with social distancing.
