Obituary for Linda Mae Grooms
Linda Mae Grooms, 58, of Hamlet, passed away, Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at First Health Richmond.
She was born in Hamlet, April 25, 1962, daughter of Archie Charles Grooms and Ethel Thompson Grooms.
Linda was a good, kind person. She enjoyed her special bond she had with her nephew Michael and loved her dogs.
A Graveside Service will be held at Grace Chapel Holiness Church, 161 Doby Mercer Road, Hamlet, on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at 11:00 am. Burial will follow.
Due to Covid all attending are required to wear mask and to continue to practice social distancing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Henry Charles Grooms; and a sister, Clara Mae Grooms.
Survivors include her sisters, Ethel McPherson and Wanda Rankin both of Hamlet; brothers, Michael Grooms of Bennettsville, SC, “Boone” Grooms of Hamlet and Lincoln Grooms of the home; several nieces and nephews whom she loved, Michael Grooms, Dusty Grooms, Adam McPherson, Krystal Grooms, Faith McPherson, Anthony McPherson, Tony McPherson and Joy Graves; and her two canine companions, “Junior “ & “Randy”.
