Obituary for Linda Odom Poole
Linda Odom Poole, 75, of Hamlet, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Richmond Pines.
She was born January 12, 1947, daughter of the late Henry Pete Odom and Florine King Odom.
Mrs. Poole worked in several areas, including nursing and real estate throughout her life.
She was family-oriented. She loved her family dearly and was proud of them all. A true lady, she was a people person and loved to meet anyone’s needs by listening and talking. The prettiest lady both inside and out, she had the personality that held her family close. She was an avid animal lover, and was especially passionate about her horses and cats.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John M. Poole; son, Timothy Allen Gardner; and brother, Pete Odom.
She is survived by her daughters, Connie Poole of Hamlet and Beth Poole Crouch of Pinehurst; brothers, Mike Odom of Laurinburg, Eddie Odom of Georgia, and Buddy Odom of Rockingham; sisters, Judy Burr of Rockingham and Joanne Burns Harrelson of Rockingham; and two grandchildren, Katie and Bennett Crouch.
A celebration of life service is being planned by the family to be announced.
