Melissa Jean Wilson, 41, of Rockingham, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022 at her residence.
She was born June 28, 1981, in Richmond County, daughter of Patsy Long Wilson and the late Eugene Wilson.
Melissa enjoyed waitressing and loved people. She loved to cook and clean. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing soccer. Watching television, listening to music, and swimming were some of her favorite things to do. Melissa loved her friends and she loved life.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Wilson.
Melissa is survived by her mother, Patsy Long Wilson of the home; sister, Patricia Ann Blanton of Myrtle Beach, SC; and niece, Brittany Blanton.
All services will be held private by the family.
