Obituary for Mitchell Wayne Powell
Mitchell Wayne Powell, 75, of Marston, formerly of Rockingham, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2020, at Hospice Haven.
He was born in Richmond County, May 1, 1944, son of Andrew Levi Powell and Catherine Norton Powell.
He was an electrician and worked in Textiles, and was a veteran of US Army. He loved the Beach, going fishing and was a simple man that enjoyed the simple things in life!
He is preceded in death by he is parents; and a brother, Richard Powell.
Survivors include his daughter, Dana Blue (Roy) of Vass; brothers, Craig Powell (Iris) of Cary and Marvin Powell (Bea) of Ellerbe; sister-in-law, Judy Powell of Rockingham; grandchildren, Sierra Huff of Rockingham and Jonathan Powell of Pinebluff; and great-granddaughter, Megan Lou Edwards.
Per Mitchell’s request there will be no service.
