Obituary for Mr. Lacy Mack Ray
Lacy Mack Ray, 89, of Hamlet, passed away, Friday, February 12, 2021, at his residence.
Mr. Ray was a member of Fellowship United Methodist Church, previously an engineer for CSX for many years and a veteran of the US Air Force. He enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar and spending time with his granddaughter. He also was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Maxton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carole McQueen Ray; and his daughter, Jena Leigh Ray Sowell.
Survivors include his son, Lacy Alan Ray of the home; granddaughter, Haley Ray Norton of Summerville, SC; and several brothers and sisters.
All services will be private.
