Obituary for Patricia Ann Pait Hutchens
Patricia Ann Pait Hutchens, 86, of Hamlet, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Richmond County Hospice Haven.
She was born April 16, 1936, in Hamlet, daughter of the late William Darden Pait and Charlotte Fidler Napier.
Patricia was a caregiver during her working years. She loved the beach and enjoyed cooking. She cherished quiet times with family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tim Kirkley; and grandchildren, Claudette Nicole Smith and Michael Kirkley.
Patricia is survived by her children, Terri Kirkley Phifer (Dawson) and Mike Kirkley (Rebecca), all of Hamlet; grandchildren, Chris Hodges (Gwen), Jeff Hodges, Jill Kirkley Conner (Dustin), and Brent Kirkley (Makayla); three great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Dixie Bhiro.
A memorial service with Catholic rites will be Sunday, January 8, 2023 at 3:00pm in the chapel of Harrington Funeral Home with Father Fidel Melo presiding.
The family will receive friends following the service from 4:00-6:00pm at Harrington Funeral Home.
