Peggy Stewart Dockery, 83, of 609 Winston Salem Street, Hamlet, passed away, Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Quail Haven Village, Pinehurst.

She was born in Maxton, May 10, 1936, daughter of Oliver & Pauline Clegg Stewart.

She previously worked for Sara Lee Hosiery.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Frank Dockery; daughter, Cynthia Breeden; and brother, James Stewart.

She is survived by her daughters, Deana Phillips of Hamlet, Debra Bloomfield of Hamlet & Edwina Jenkins of Brooklyn, NY; son, Richard Dockery of Hamlet; sister, Connie Stewart of Delaware; and brothers, Richard, Robert, Oscar and Shelby Stewart all of Delaware.

Family will receive visitors at other times at home of Daughter, Deana Phillips, 607 Winston Salem Street, Hamlet, NC.
Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM at Wayman Chapel Faith Center(1 hour prior to the Service)

A Memorial Service will be held at Wayman Chapel Faith Center, 1923 Osborne Road, Hamlet, on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 2:00 PM.
