Obituary for Richard Allen Davis
Richard Allen Davis ,56, of Hamlet, passed away, Sunday, May 16, 2021, at Richmond Pines Healthcare, Hamlet.
He was born January 13, 1965, son of Late Harry Leon Davis, Sr. and Linda Covington Williams.
Richard was self employed carpenter. He had a great sense of humor, loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. Fishing with his son was one of his favorite pastimes. He always called his daughter his "Beautiful Princess".
He was preceded in death by his dad; and a brother, Harry Leon Davis, Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Linda Williams of Hamlet; daughter, Rita Davis (Oscar)of Anderson, SC; son, John Davis (Jenna) of Hamlet; brother, Mark Davis of Hamlet; sisters, Tammy Lampley (David) and Margaret Davis both of Rockingham; Ten grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Maple Street Free Will Baptist Church. Pastor Darwin Cook will be officiating.
