Obituary for Robin Eugene Wise
Robin Eugene Wise, 65, of Hamlet, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at his residence.
He was born April 14, 1955, in Hamlet, son of James Wilson Wise and Odessa McKenzie Wise.
Robin was a locomotive engineer for 30 years with CSX, a member of Second Baptist Church, Hamlet, and a member of the Hamlet Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed Blue Grass music, hanging out with his “Lake Buddies” and going on cruises.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Freeman Wise; daughters, Jennifer Hammargren (Ben) of Signal Mountain, TN and Jessica Bussey (Mark) of Oceanside, CA; son, Jason Wise (Alexis) of Frostburg, Maryland; brothers, Jimmy Wise of Goose Creek, SC and Billy Wise of Hamlet; six grandchildren, Atticus, Callie Jane, Savannah, Scarlett, Eli and Owen; and many nieces and nephews.
