Obituary for Samuel Allen "Sammy" Lampley
Samuel Allen “Sammy” Lampley, 73, of Rockingham, passed away, Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Hamlet House, Hamlet.
He was born in Richmond County, December 4, 1947, son of Thomas Alton Lampley and Ruby Williams Lampley.
Sammy previously worked for Hawks Builders as a carpenter and was a veteran of the US Navy. He was a hard worked and loved cars, especially a Mopar.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Wendy Leviner Lampley.
Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer L. Mauldin of Rockingham; sons, David Lampley(Tammy) and Samuel Dwayne Lampley both of Rockingham; brothers, Randy Lampley (Tammy) of Hamlet, Jimmy Lampley (Prudence) of Rockingham and Pete Lampley of Conway, SC; sisters, Bonnie Davis(Tommy) and Judy Harris (Glen, Jr.) both of Rockingham; four grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
