Obituary for Shelia Shepard Walters
Shelia Shepard Walters, 70, of Patrick, SC, formerly of Rockingham, passed away, Friday, March 13, 2020, at McLeod Health, Cheraw, SC
She was born in Richmond County, May 19, 1949, daughter of Tebe Shepard and Reba Morris Shepard.
Mrs. Walters was a CNA and loved caring for the Elderly; having worked previously at Palmer Hinson and in Hospitals. She loved trips to the mountains and all the simple pleasures of life; such as her son and granddaughters,whom she adored, special friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2020, at Bethel Baptist Church, 2063 Grassy Island Road Ellerbe,NC from 2:00-3:00 pm.
The Memorial Service will be held following the visitation at 3:00 pm. Her brother, Odell Shepard and Pastor Rick Dutton will be officiating.
She is survived by her husband, Howard Walters of the home; son, Shawn Wasburn of Gainsville, GA; brother, Odell Shepard (Mary) of Rockingham; sisters, Ruby Hudson of Ellerbe and Ada Hagler of Holden Beach; granddaughters, Payton Washburn and Madison Washburn both of Gainesville, GA; step-daughters, Laura Greene of Biscoe, Barbara McLeod of Candor and Amy Walters of Conway, SC; step-sons, Kenneth Walters of Patrick, SC, Matthew Walters of Hartsville, SC and Joshua Walters of Cheraw, SC; and special friends, Wanda and DA Coble of Rockingham.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Georgia Medical Center, Augusta, GA
