Obituary for Sonya Stewart Fawcett
Sonya Stewart Fawcett, 44, of Hamlet, passed away, Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at Hospice House, Pinehurst.
She was born October 29, 1975, in Fayetteville, NC, daughter of Ronald Craig Stewart and Deborah Morrison Sears.
Sonya was as beautiful inside as she was on the outside; she was funny, artistic, whether in music or art, if she put her mind to it she could do almost anything. She loved her family and always put them first; Sonya was a lot of things to a lot of people, she will really be missed!
She was preceded in death by her step-dad, Roger W. Sears.
Survivors include, her mother, Deborah M. Sears of Hamlet; father, Ronald Stewart of Asheville; significant other, Jeff Mishoe of the home; Paternal grandmother, Louise DeBerry of Rockingham; daughter, Raegan Mishoe of the home; sons, Elijah James Yates and Ezerah Yates both of the home; brothers, Craig Stewart of Rockingham and Chris Stewart of Hamlet; sisters, Shelby Carpenter of Carthage and Olivia Stewart of Asheville; and two special nieces, Dasia Dennis and China Dennis.
The Family will be having a Graveside Memorial Service on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at 2:00 pm, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 1247 Sandhill Road, Rockingham.
Social Distancing and face coverings encouraged.
