Obituary for Tammy Renee Thompson
Tammy Renee Thompson, 55, of Rockingham, passed away, Monday, September 5, 2022 at Atrium-Stanly Hospital, Albemarle.
Tammy was born July 27, 1967, in Rockingham, daughter of Thomas R. Thompson and Yvonne Mauldin Thompson.
Tammy loved the Beach, Thrift stores and yard sales. She also loved Christmas; always the first to arrive at her parent’s home, sort the gifts from under the Christmas tree and then proceed to hand them out. These wonderful times her family will always remember!
She was preceded in death by her son, Tyler Johnson.
Survivors include her parents, Thomas “Tommy” and Yvonne Thompson of Rockingham; brother, John “Frankie” Thompson (Judy) of Hamlet; sisters, Debbie Grooms (Tim) of Rockingham, Valerie Davis (Steve) of Hamlet, Mary Fennel (Jeff) of Holly Springs, Lisa Carter (Scott) of Ohio and Pam Lewellen of Hamlet.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
