Obituary for Thomas "Tommy" Ray Foss, Sr.
On Friday, December 30, 2022, Thomas Ray Foss, Sr. gained his wings. At 82, Tommy, to those that knew him, was a fixture of the Richmond County area for most of his life. In his younger years, Tommy spent many hours in the shop behind his home building and repairing motorcycles. Through his love for two wheels, Tommy had some great stories to tell and made some fabulous friends along the way. Tommy’s second career was serving the community with his lawn care business.
He is predeceased by his parents, Egbert Foss and Lora May Holmes Foss, of Warsaw, NC.
Tommy is survived by three children, Buddy (Thomas, Jr.), PeeWee (Michael), and Hope Bostick; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 12 noon, in the chapel of Harrington Funeral Home, Hamlet.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to any Hospice House of your choice.
