Obituary for Timothy "Tim" Buie
Timothy “Tim” McQueen Buie, 44, of Rockingham, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst.
He was born November 6, 1977, in Richmond County, son of James McQueen Buie and Phyllis Nettles Wilbanks.
Tim enjoyed cookouts and being with family and friends. He was a hard-working electrician. Despite his hardships in life, he wore his heart on his sleeve and anybody that knew Tim, knew his favorite things to eat were hot wings and pecan pie. He loved to make jokes and make everybody laugh. His kind heart never wanted anyone to feel unloved. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
He was preceded in death by a nephew, Jordan Aaron Buie.
Surviving are his parents, James and Glenda Buie of Hamlet and Phyllis and Scott Wilbanks of Sunset Beach; wife, Angel Zachary Buie of Hamlet; children, Alysah Buie and Elizabeth Buie, both of Rockingham; Justice Buie, currently serving the US Army stationed in Germany; and Gavin Buie of Hamlet; stepchildren, Destinee Chavis (Blaine) of Rockingham and Zachary Patton of Hamlet; brothers, James Buie of Taylorsville and Johnathan Buie (Ashleigh) of Ellerbe; sister, Jennifer Buie of Surfside Beach; grandchildren, Nevaeh Burr, Paxton Burr, and Gracelyn Chavis; and niece and nephew, Taylor Buie and James Mack Buie.
All services will be held private by the family.
