Walker Craig Collins, 74, of 404 Cheraw Road, Hamlet, passed away, Friday, January 24, 2020, at his residence

He was born in Marlboro County, SC, November 10, 1945, son of Raeford and Ruby Ellen Hammond Collins.
He was owner of Collins Car Care Hamlet, was retired from the City of Hamlet and a member of Mount Carmel Free Will Baptist Church.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, January 26, 2020, at 3:00 PM at Mt. Carmel Free Will Baptist Church, with Pastor Mike Childers and Pastor Eddie Hildreth officiating.
The Family will receive friends following the Service.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Jerry Collins.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Maul Collins; daughters, Cara Covington (Perry) of Rockingham and Deana Carter (Bryan ) of Rockingham; brother, Bennie Ray Collins (Sara) of Bennettsville, SC; sister, Judy Collins Ormsby of Hamlet; grandchildren, Amber Toothe (Chris), Jarrett Carter and Jonathan Carter; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Madison Toothe; and his beloved companion, “Sadie”.
Memorials may be given in his memory to Mt. Carmel Free Will Baptist Church, 573 Battley Dairy Road, Rockingham, NC 28379
