Obituary for William "Boyd" Ford
William “Boyd” Ford, 80, of Rockingham, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at his residence.
He was born in Fairmont, February 4, 1940, son of Carlton Ford and Lois Watson Ford.
Boyd was previously an inspector and worked for United States Department of Agriculture. He was a man that loved people and had a wonderful outgoing personality. He enjoyed fixing things and their home in Rockingham as well as at the beach.
A Funeral will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020, at Harrington Funeral Home at 11:00 am with Rev. Mike Childers officiating. Burial will follow at Watson Family Cemetery, Fairmont, NC.
Face mask and social distancing will be required.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Glenda Ford; and a brother, Jerry “Boot” Ford.
Survivors include, his wife, Glenda Kay Caulder Ford; daughters, Lisa Mills(Greg), Sherry Fonseca (Jon), Jeanie Steele (Matt) , Jennifer Ford and Arlinda Billingsley(Ernie); son, Eddie Caulder (Joann); siblings, Janet Stroud, Jean Setlock, David Ford, Nelda Redfern, Tony Ford, Penny Johnson, Billy Ray Ford, Johnny Ford and Angela Jackson; fourteen grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
