Obituary for Yvonne Wilson Graham
Yvonne Wilson Graham, 80, of Hamlet, passed away Friday, March 04, 2022, at Hospice Haven.
She was born February 2, 1942 to the late Clyde and Julia Wilson.
Mrs. Graham was a graduate of Hamlet High School, class of 1960. She was married to the late Glenn Graham and was a homemaker. She loved sewing, gardening, and canning. A life-long member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, she served in many areas including Sunday School teacher, choir, and church council. One of her favorite activities was getting her 1960 classmates together for class lunches once a month.
Her four grandsons and two great-grandchildren were her joy and delight.
She was predeceased by her husband, Glenn Graham; her parents, Clyde and Julia Wilson; brothers, Clyde Wilson, Ralph Wilson, and Donald Wilson; and sisters, Carolyn W. Carter, Ruth W. Campbell, and Faye W. Jordan.
Surviving Mrs. Graham are her two daughters and sons-in-law, Angela Graham Correll, and Larry, of Waxhaw, and Karen Graham Stone, and Ricky, of Rowland; grandsons, Brooks Correll, and wife Dayna, Britton Correll, and wife Tina, Steven Stone, and wife Sarah, and Kyle Stone; great-grandchildren, Emma Kate Stone and Thomas Stone; sister, Nancy Jo Pollard, and husband, Jim of Durham; sister-in-law, Gracie Graham; and special neighbors, Curtis and Robin Ratliff.
A time of visitation will be Monday, March 7, 2022 from 1:00pm-2:00pm at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Hamlet.
The funeral service will begin at 2:00pm, following the visitation, with Pastor Pam Northrup officiating. Burial will follow at Mary Love Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 311 Marlboro St., Hamlet, NC 28345, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or Richmond County Hospice Haven, 1119 N. US Highway 1, Rockingham, NC 28379.
